Ⅲ. 教材分析與教材重組
1. 教材分析
本模塊以No Drugs為話題,通過本模塊的幾篇閱讀材料使學生對drugs和smoking有所了解,并通過對這兩個問題的討論使學生更深刻地認識到drugs和smoking對人體的害處,對社會的危害,以及可能引起的一些社會性問題,如:burglary, shoplifting等。 從而鼓勵學生遠離煙和毒品,養(yǎng)成良好的生活習慣,關愛社會關愛他人,并通過所學知識運用恰當方式規(guī)勸他人也遠離煙和毒品。
1.1 INTRODUCTION通過對抽煙數據的檢測,讓學生了解吸煙的危害,并通過英英釋義的方式進一步熟悉詞匯,后利用對三個問題的討論來引出另一個話題: drug use。
1.2 READING AND VOCABULARY 閱讀部分是打亂順序的兩篇不同類型的文章,通過給兩篇文章選標題的方式培養(yǎng)學生的邏輯分析能力。然后通過練習使學生掌握有關drug use的詞匯,并培養(yǎng)學生獲取準確信息的能力。
1.3 GRAMMAR 1 是學習不定式作目的狀語的用法。在練習前先列出to 的幾種不同用法來引出to 可作目的狀語。接著又引出了其它可作目的狀語的短語: in order (not) to, so as (not) to。
1.4 FUNCTION 這一部分先展現例句引出要學的短語,然后通過練習來鞏固所學內容。
1.5 LISTENING AND VOCABULARY 是關于drug users 的一些信息。在聽之前通過問答的方式先鞏固詞匯,然后采用問答和完成句子的形式對所聽內容進行檢測,培養(yǎng)學生獲取信息并再現的能力。
1.6 GRAMMAR 2 通過不同類型的例句引出引導結果狀語從句的詞: so與such以及對so與such區(qū)別的討論,然后通過練習來鞏固其用法。
1.7 PRONUNCIATION學會在日常交際中表達語氣和情感。
1.8 SPEAKING 通過回答問題的方式,繼續(xù)展開對 smoking 這個話題的討論。
1.9 WRITING 根據電子郵件的內容選擇合適的題目,并對其內容做出討論,根據討論后的結果寫一封回信。
1.10 EVERYDAY ENGLISH 學習關于同意或不同意的表達方式,并通過真實語境來練習運用。
1.11 CULTURAL CORNER 通過介紹多種戒煙的方法給煙民提供一個適合自己的戒煙方式。并通過對問題的討論,認識吸煙的害處,使自己成為一個有意志并且健康的人。
1.12 TASK 讓學生收集有關抽煙危害的資料,然后進行討論,并提交一個調查報告。
2. 教材重組
2.1 將INTRODUCTION, SPEAKING和EVERYDAY ENGLISH整合在一起,上一節(jié)口語課。
2.2 將READING AND VOCABULARY 設計成一節(jié)精讀課。
2.3 將GRAMMAR 1, FUNCTION和GRAMMAR 2 以及WORKBOOK中的 Grammar整合在一起,上一節(jié)語法課。
2.4 將LISTENING AND VOCABULARY, PRONUNCIATION和WORKBOOK中的Speaking and listening整合在一起,上一節(jié)聽力課。
2.5 將CULTURAL CORNER和WORKBOOK中的Reading整合在一起,上一節(jié)泛讀課。
2.6 將WRITING,TASK和WORKBOOK中的Writing整合在一起,上一節(jié)寫作練習課。
