1.完型填空技巧
第一，對短文的理解不是簡單的詞義、句義相加。考生不能滿足于表面意義，而要深刻領悟所選短文作者寫作的意圖和風格。不同的作者對相同的事件會有不同的觀點和表現(xiàn)方法，而考生就應該領會這種文章的基調，并按這一基調選擇恰當?shù)脑~語填空。例如，同樣在表面上進行褒揚的兩篇文章，如果基調分別是諷刺與贊頌，那么它們的選詞將截然不同。這在總結性的語段中表現(xiàn)得特別明顯。第二，在充分理解的基礎上再進行選擇填空。實義詞的填空與理解上下文關系密切，也與詞匯識別有重要關系�？忌鷳斪⒅卦~語搭配關系，在句內理解、語篇理解的基礎上進行選擇。而結構詞的填空雖然與語法測試更為接近，但是在許多情況下，連詞、關系代詞、介詞等也必須結合語篇來選擇。
第三，建議考生先瀏覽全文，掌握大意，再充分運用邏輯推理，進行細節(jié)上的分析。特別要注意部分待選項可能在上下文，尤其是在下文中，出現(xiàn)提示�？忌砷喿x前后的句子，尋找相關的信息詞。
第四，要注意選擇選擇項。部分干擾項在上下文中或許是可能的，但考生必須進行比較，以得出的選擇項。平時學習中盡量多使用英英詞典，而非英漢詞典，以便更好地理解和搭配使用的詞匯。
第五，既要反對不究其原因只顧答案的治學作風，也要反對那種不考慮上下文只期望作出單純的語法解釋的傾向。要注意在平時閱讀優(yōu)秀文章時積累正確的語感，并且適當?shù)匾蕾囘@種語感進行選擇。
第六，訓練完形填空不一定都采用多項選擇的形式，可以采用填空的方式。考生不妨在練習時先不看選擇項，自行用適當單詞填空，并試著填入不止一個可能的答案。當然，填空題的難度大大高于選擇題，但它卻是更富于挑戰(zhàn)性、效果更好的適應性練習。
